According to thestatistics of the State Flood Control and Drought Relief Headquarters, sincethe beginning of this year the total Beijing, Hebei, Inner Mongolia, Jiangsu,Zhejiang, Anhui, Fujian, Jiangxi, Henan, Hubei, Hunan, Guangdong, Guangxi,Hainan, Sichuan, Chongqing, Guizhou, Yunnan, Shaanxi, Gansu, Xinjiang and other21 provinces (autonomous regions and municipalities) and Xinjiang productionand Construction Corps occurred different degree of flood disaster.

As of June 26, thenational flood affected population of 2043 people, crops affected area of 1695thousand hectares, 42,000 houses collapsed, the death tolls of 99, missing 20people, there are 41 cities and towns flooded due to heavy rainfallwaterlogging, emergency relocated 105.3 million, flood economic losses of about34.1 billion yuan.

Compared with the averagesince 2000 in the same period, the current national overall light of flooddisaster, the affected population, the affected area, collapsed houses, diemissing major indexes such as less 47%, 30%, 77% and 30% respectively, whichfloods the lowest death missing to history.

From the point of view ofdisaster area distribution, late May to mid June, Jiangnan, frequent heavyrainfall process in South China and southwest China and the overlap of multi,resulting in Fujian, Jiangxi, Hubei, Hunan, Guangdong, Guangxi, Guizhou andother provinces (autonomous regions) repeat disaster, the area to the affectedpopulation, affected area, houses collapsed, death tolls missing people anddirect economic losses are accounted for 8 percent of the total number oflosses, the disaster is very serious.
